The Emperor III passed away ...

This news came as a shock even though the Emperor III was ill for quite some time. The Empress III will take over as the ruler of the Emerald Palace as the Crown Prince is not married and the constitution states that all rulers has to be of married status.

Next week the wedding will be hold ... in a rush. Now the whole Palace is scrambling to perfect the 2 events. A funeral and a wedding.

三福晋归天，三亲王心碎

三福晋's health had been deteroriating after her 4th pregnancy. She became very thin and frill. The Palace Steward could hardly recognise her. None of her photos was to be published by the media as ordered by 三亲王. He wants everyone to remember her as the bubbly and beautiful 三福晋. Currently she holds the record of the most pregnancies and most children bore by her.

The total population of the Royal Family dropped to 8. His Majesty's health has not been good lately. Hence His Majesty is looking for a wife for his adopted son, the Crown Prince. 天晴公主 stands a higher chance since she is the other adopted child of the Emperor III and the Empress III. Any marriage among the Royalties need careful planning. With so many bad news in the Palace recently, everyone would like to hear the wedding bells soon.

The Emerald Palace also received presents from another foreign envoy to improve diplomatic ties. His Majesty would like to extend his heartfelt appreciate for the kind gesture.

皇太后的逝世...

皇太后的逝世，见证了第三代皇室成员的结束。Currently the Royal Family has only 2 generations of members; the Emperor III and Empress III and their adopted children, the Crown Prince and 天晴公主, 三亲王 and 三福晋 and their 3 children, namely 仙云格格 & 仙宇格格 & the youngest recently named 仙月格格。

A cactus was added into the Royal Garden. It was a gift from a foreign envoy. The Royal Family was delighted to receive the present. It is a gesture of friendliness. After sometime the plant has grown bigger and taller, the Palace Steward is in search of a nice and big pot fit for the Royal Cactus. His Majesty felt that the cactus looks like a Christmas tree and ordered the Palace Steward to look for suitable decorations for the coming festival.

Although the Palace Steward loves the cactus and wanted it so much to keep it in the servant's quarter, it is a Royal Cactus and belongs to the Kingdom. All I can do is to take care of it so that everyone can admire the Cactus in the Royal Garden.

After all that happened over the past few months, the Palace Steward is convinced that the way of life is to be devoted to the Emerald Palace, the Royal Family and my current part-time job. It takes a lot of determination and discipline not to be distracted. The Palace Steward will get on with life. 老佛爷 and her 2 daughters will watch over me from Heaven.

太皇太后昨日驾崩

太皇太后驾崩了... the whole nation is mourning for Her Majesty. She was the longest living royalty of 2 years and 10 months. She did not get to live past her 3rd birthday. The Palace Steward was too distraught to comment much.
太皇太后已归天与老佛爷和最亲的姐姐团聚。

Prince White, the Halfling who had grown up and resembled his grandfather, the Emperor II in turning circles passed away a week before 太皇太后. One of 三亲王 & 三福晋 newborns also passed away shortly after birth.

With 3 consecutive funerals, the Palace is in a solemn sad mood.

4 batch !!!

三亲王 & 三福晋 had their 4th batch of children last week. The 2 newborns have yet to open their eyes. It is fortunate that their parents cared so much for them after having so many children before.

The 3rd batch of children have grown into such angels, 太皇太后 has decided to give them their titles as 仙云格格 & 仙宇格格.

Now the Palace Steward has to crack brains for the Masters housing arrangement due to overcrowding again.

Renovation Completed

The new building, 通天阁 is finally completed and the naming ceremony was held yesterday. Now that the Palace renovation fully completed, the Royal members get to enjoy some peaceful days.

Farewell to our Princess

两天前，星月公主在亲友们的祝福声中以隆重的婚礼嫁入豪门。亲家赠了一栋“玉双楼”作为聘礼，代表皇室两位亭亭玉立的公主。

The renovation of the Emerald Kingdom is near completion. The construction of 1 more building is almost completed. The name of the new building will be unveiled by Her Majesty in the near future.

New Title & Changes

太皇太后 has decided on the titles on the first batch of children and the chosen one who will be adopted by Emperor III.
The eldest son will be the Crown Prince, next in line to the Emperor III. 太皇太后 has instructed the search of a suitable Crown Princess. The second daughter will be known as 星月公主 and the third daughter will be 天晴公主. The youngest son, having the same habits and characteristics of Emperor II (his grandfather) will be known as Prince White. 星月公主 will be leaving the Kingdom soon for her wedding. Though she will be nearby, she will be missed by all.

三太子 will stay in the Emerald Kingdom with his children and become the advisor of Emperor III. His title is now known as 三亲王 and 三太子妃 will be 三福晋. Titles for the 3rd batch will be announced at a much later date.

Rumors has been spreading all over the Kingdom that the Crown Prince and 三亲王 are in bad blood, saying that the Crown Prince fear that 三亲王 will intercept him as the next Emperor. The Palace Steward (I have seen them fighting fiercely) stated no comments about this matter in front of the media. Afterall 三亲王 is his biological father, he should not be afraid of losing to his own father because ultimately the position will go to him, the Crown Prince.

3rd Litter!!!

三太子 & 三太子妃 had their 3rd litter of babies yesterday!!! It is a great console to all after sending the 2nd litter away. There are 3 of them in the 3rd litter. Everyone in the Palace is elated. This is because the 1st litter is adopted by the Emperor & Empress III and the 2nd litter is sent away. The 3rd litter is finally the ones that 三太子 & 三太子妃 can call their own.

Now the most important thing is to make sure that the mother and babies get enough nutrients and tonics. Afterall, 三太子妃 had been pregnant and giving birth continuously for the past 4 months. This is very taxing on her body. Probably it is time to practise some form of birth control.

The Final Royal Decision: Farewell to the 2nd Litter

Her Majesty has finally come to a decision. Her decree is as follows:
"The 3 children from 三太子 & 三太子妃 second litter of children will represent their parents to take over the other Kingdom."

Unfortunately one of the 4 babies, the smaller size one from the 2nd litter died. The trio from the second litter are chosen because it is taken into consideration that the 4 from the 1st litter are being adopted by the Emperor & Empress III. It has been an honour to serve the trio for nearly a month. They are a bundle of joy. An active, cute and curious lot. Farewell my young masters and all the best in your future endeavours.

Droppy eyes, wrinkles, white fur, balding signs ... age is catching up on Her Majesty.

Her Majesty has been rather active in politics recently and is often in the limelight. However her signs of old age is obvious now as she approaches her 3rd birthday. After all she is already 2.5 years old.

With all dust settled, things in the Kingdom is back to normal. There are plans to renovate the Palace with new buildings and upgrading. More updates will come in the near future.

2nd Litter of Royal Babies!

三太子 & 三太子妃 have yet another litter of babies! 1, 2, 3, 4!

太皇太后is totally overjoyed. Everyone in the Kingdom is celebrating. Now there are rumors that Her Majesty will send the couple's the other 3 children (not including the Halfling because he is still too small to travel) to take over the Kingdom that they are supposed to go. 三太子 & 三太子妃 will stay to take care of their new batch of children.

The Palace Steward is in a dilemma though. I do not know who should migrate now. I am having a great time serving the 4 young heirs to the Emerald throne, especially the trio who stay together. They always make people feel comfortable around them. Anyway this is not up to my decision, Her Majesty will make her announcement in the near future.

After 1 month celebration ...

After the 1 month celebration, the 4 new members of the Royal Family are separated from their parents to live in the Palace of Gems. They are able to take care of themselves. The 4 children are so adorable that they became the media's favourite. Their every move are being closely followed. Although they are still quite shy, they are slowly learning to adapt to the attention they receive.

The halfling is coping well and reports from the Palace said that he has a high chance of survival after passing the 1 month crucial period. The halfling has quite a bad temper. He was separated from his other siblings after some safety concerns. He bites everything that gets near him. Perhaps he is trying to eat as much as possible to compensate his slow growth. Currently he is one third the size of the others.

Her Majesty, 太皇太后, is considering the titles for the young ones; 2 princes (1 of them is the halfling) and 2 princesses.

There are critics who strongly disagree to the separation of 三太子，三太子妃 and their children. However this move is inevitable. 太皇太后 does not intend to seek the public's understanding in this matter. She remained a low profile and refused to comment more. As the Palace Steward, I can only give her moral support. She seemed rather tired recently over this matter. She sleeps a lot and moves little. Rumours is rampant in the Kingdom saying that 太皇太后 is in poor health due to old age.

The Emperor III and his wife, Empress of Gallant is still trying hard to have children while 皇太后 is enjoying her days as a retiree. She has no intention of taking over the duties of the 太皇太后. Plans are already in place. When 太皇太后 returns to heaven, the Kingdom will be ruled fully under the Royal couple.

The Palace may be expecting some guests in the near future, the distant relatives of the Emperor III.

Almost 3 weeks later ...

The Palace Steward is back and I serving 2 out of 3 weeks of my sentence. The little babies have grown a lot over the 3 weeks. Her Majesty has yet to decide whether 三太子 and 三太子妃 is to be migrating.

Her Majesty, 太皇太后 has decided. 三太子 and 三太子妃 will continue with their journey to take over the other kingdom. Their 4 children will be under Emperor III's custody and they will be heir to the Emerald Throne. It is a painful decision to separate the family but rules are rules. Everyone has to follow Her Majesty's decision. His Majesty, the Emperor III and his wife, the Empress promised that they will take good care of the 4 children and groom them like their own.

As the Palace Steward, I will have to see to the necessary arrangements for 三太子 and 三太子妃's migration and the new residence of the 4 children. The Emperor III is the 真命天子, 天明所归。He is meant to be the Emperor of the Emerald Throne as his father was the Crown Prince before he passed away. Thus Her Majesty was unable to arrange 三太子 take over his throne after he has succeeded it.

三太子妃 gave birth to a litter of babies a couple of days ago. It was quite some time that the Kingdom had such joyful news.

Now Her Majesty, 太皇太后 is having doubts which couple to send away to take over the throne in the neighbouring kingdom. As King of Gallant is officially announced as Emperor III of the Emerald Throne, he cannot be replaced by 三太子 even though the practice was to let the couple who is able to produce a new generation of Emerald heirs take over the Throne. Her Majesty is still in the process of discussion and deciding.

The Palace Steward, me, has received punishment from 太皇太后 for my previous mistakes. I will be lock up somewhere for 3 weeks and the sentence is served separately over 3 occasions. The first week will start tomorrow. Now that 三太子妃 has just given birth, I am really worried to leave the young children and 主子们. Her Majesty cannot retract her orders either because it is officially announced.

After serving my term, I hope I can spend more time with the Royal Family. Her Majesty has already restricted my part-time job scope. Would I be spending more or less time at work in future, I am not sure yet. However I have to obey her orders. The workload of Her Majesty has increased tremendously especially after the death of Empress Dowager Marble. I pray that she live a healthy ripe old age. 主子们，请保重！
